Dear Friends & Family, Tom made it through his bone marrow biopsy today. Tom was awake during the procedure. He had a local anesthetic to help ease the pain. Tom was glad that the procedure was quick. The 2nd biopsy was easier than his 1st. The Dr’s will use Tom’s 1st bone marrow biopsy as a base for where his blood cells were before treatment. The 2nd biopsy will tell the Dr ‘s if the cancer is in remission. Meaning that the treatments (Arsenic & ATRA) are working or the cancer is in control. Tom has a follow-up appointment on Monday with NP. We will keep you updated. We are GRATEFUL for all your prayers forTom!
