Gosh, it has been a while since we have posted an update. I guess that was because we have just been plodding along through treatments and breaks with no big news to report. The good news is that all in all my treatments have been going fine, with minimal side effects, compared to what other cancer patients have to endure.

The nurses and staff at the MD Anderson Cancer Center have been wonderful. We have come to know several of them and they know us by name when we walk in.

I have been enjoying a break in my chemo treatments. This is the start of the 2nd of 4 weeks of break. I go in today for my 3rd, and hopefully final, bone marrow biopsy. They offered to sedate me for this one, which I gladly accepted. I was awake for the first 2. Even though they numbed my skin and muscle, they could not numb the bone, so it was very painful when they had to poke through the bone and pull out the marrow and chip off a piece of bone. The results of this biopsy will apparently determine if March will be my last 4 weeks of chemo. If so, I will be done on March 24th.

Maggie and I are grateful for your prayers and support!

Thank you!

Cancer free in ’23!
