Saturday, August 27 – Day 14

My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.

2 Cor. 12:9

Today was the 2nd day of outpatient chemo for Tom at MD Anderson Cancer Center. His treatments take about an hour to complete through an IV. Tom slept through most of his chemo today. His body is feeling the effects of the arsenic and the medications he needs to be on at this time. It is God’s grace that is helping Tom and me get through these days.

Tom’s dad turned 90 recently. Unfortunately, Tom was not able to attend the celebration as he was in the hospital. While the family was together everyone decorated a heart for Tom with encouraging words and their sentiments of love. The ribbon of hearts hangs in our front window of our home along with well wishes and notes from our grand kids to their Papa.

Thank you all for your continued support & prayers!

We love you!! ♥️🙏🦋

  1. Keep up the good work – something is going right considering it was to be a 30 day hospital stay. Keep up the good fight. There are lots of prayers going out for you.
