“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul. A hope sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil.” HEBREWS 6:19
Hello Dear Family & Friends,
This weeks update on Tom – We saw the Dr. on Monday. An encouraging visit. The Dr. said Tom is moving in the right direction. And that he has come a long way since his cancer diagnosis on August 14th. Tom will continue with 4 cycles of Arsenic, 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off. Alternating with cycles of Vitamin A. Tom will not have any appts. at the cancer center during his 4 weeks off, unless needed. On October 8th, Tom begins his first 4 weeks off of chemo! Hoping Tom will feel better during this time. A needed break for his body & well being. Sometime between cycle 3 & 4 of his therapy, another bone marrow biopsy will be taken. At this point the Dr would like to see a NEGATIVE (PCR) result, meaning No Leukemia. Since his previous bone marrow looked good, the Dr. said there is a 95% chance that his next bone marrow should look good too. The Dr. took Tom off of 2 of his daily meds. He is sleeping better at night. Tom’s appetite is improving. He continues to feel fatigued. The Dr. wants Tom to start taking short walks to help build endurance.
We are so grateful for each of you in our lives. Thank you for your continued, love, prayers & HOPE!
Tom & Maggie ❤️❤️⚓️

Tom, I have been so happy to see good results for most of your updates. I continue to think of you and keep you and all your family in my prayers. Take care of yourself and make everyone wait on you as it seems you will be back in the swing of things soon. Might as well take advantage while you can. HaHa. I know from experience how hard it is to have everyone taking care of you. Keep the faith.
