My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness. 2 Cor. 12:9 Today was the 2nd day of outpatient chemo for Tom at MD Anderson Cancer Center. His treatments take about an hour to complete through an IV. Tom slept through most of his chemo today. His body is feeling the […]

Friday August 26 – Day 13
Good morning to our family and friends. As you have seen in earlier posts, Tom has a paper chain of daily healing words which our sister Laura made for him. Yesterday’s word was “BELIEVE”. Well, Tom’s numbers continued to stabilize in the right direction yesterday… and… Tom was released from the hospital yesterday evening! He […]

August 20 – Day 7
My sister Laura made a countdown chain for the remaining days of the predicted 30 day stay here at the hospital. Today we removed the first link in the chain, and it was very a appropriate word – “Kindness!” If there is one thing that has moved me to tears this past week, it has […]

August 19 Day 6
Good nights rest! Some drug adjustments to deal with nausea issues. Tom has been taking walks around the floor with his buddy Rick Steves. Most of the trips are You’re-a-peeing. He will be moving to a new room today because he is too healthy! This wing mostly takes the highly sick. Tom has stabilized well.
